My first experience with golf was when I was 9 years old and I participated in a beginners course for children at Virpiniemi Golf Club in Oulu. Twelve years later I made Finnish golfing history, when I played in the legendary Augusta National Golf Club as the first Finnish female golfer with the best 72 amateur golfers in the world.
On my journey from Virpiniemi to Augusta, I won multiple Finnish Championships as well as 12 college titles. I was selected as the NCAA D2 Player of the Year in 2020 and was named an All-American in all my 4 years of college.
I turned professional at the 2021 Gant Ladies Open in Turku, Finland - which meant a lot for me. After narrowly missing out on my 2022 LPGA Tour card, I played a full season on the Epson Tour where I got my first professional win along with six top 10 finishes. And now, here I am, an LPGA Tour player...
